What should I bring to the initial meeting? |
To help prepare for the initial meeting we ask clients complete a Fact Finder and return it by email or fax before the meeting. To the meeting clients bring the documents that relate to their areas of concern, such as as their last tax return and Notice of Assessment, investment statements, pension statements, budgets, net worth statements, loan documents, and insurance policies. We use the Fact Finder as a starting point to quickly identify areas of need, and to clarify financial goals and retirement lifestyle plans. Download either the Fact Finder PDF or the Fact Finder spreadsheet. |

In the initial meeting you will meet with a senior level planner. When the project begins several team members will work with you. Their names will be confirmed at the time we begin working on your plan. |
We meet with clients several times during the initial project where we are designing a Financial, Retirement or Wealth Management Plan for them. Meetings after that are determined by the client needs. We encourage annual meetings to review plans and objectives, or progress on specific goals. |

Do you charge for the initial meeting? |
The first hour of consultation is provided at our current consulting rate, however if we are retained to do a consulting project for you this first hour will be credited back to you. This initial consultation is intended to be a fact finding meeting, to get to know you and your concerns. It may be that this session will be all that is required for your issues to be resolved, but if more detailed analysis and advice is required, the advice provided is included within our Consulting Agreement for services. |
We prepare plans and projections on a fee-only basis. We charge an hourly rate, however, our initial project will be provided on a fixed fee basis as outlined in our Consulting Engagement Agreement. This fee will vary by the time and compexity of the project requied. We do not have mimimum fees. All services are provided under three options - fixed fee, time and charges or on periodic retainer. See our Summary of services and fee schedule. |

What kind of assets do you invest in? |
